Lloyd Watson

Lloyd has nearly 50 years experience within the aviation industry.

Starting his career as a Royal Naval Officer and Fleet Air Arm Rotary Wing Pilot; Lloyd has achieving A1 instructor, NVGI and Master Air Pilot for valuable services to aviation.

After his career in the military, Lloyd was an Airline Captain and Examiner on the A320 with management roles as a General Manager, Operations Director and Head of Training.

Later he progressed to senior management as Commercial Director with a flare for products, sales, marketing and B2B contracting  with an annual category spend around $600M in over 30 countries utilizing 50+ operators.

Simon Dean McCarroll

Simon has over 24 years experience within the aviation industry.

He is an expert witness and expert determiner for aviation cases with a focus on airport planning, design and engineering. Simon’s expertise extends from aviation facilities planning, terminal/airfield design and airport simulation, to civil engineering and airfield construction.

Simon brings a wealth of practical and operational knowledge across a broad international baseline. He is an EASA-approved expert on airport planning, and his diverse experience includes completing projects based in Antarctica where he worked with a blue ice runway and airfield.

Simon is also a board member of the Academy of Experts which seeks to ensure that all experts are appropriately qualified and experienced in order to serve as expert witnesses in court.

Finally, Simon is the Immediate Past Chair of the British Aviation Group – Scotland Branch which is dedicated to supporting and promoting aviation across the UK.

Ronald Macintyre

Ronald is the Chief Learning Officer of the T-C-Alliance and has over twenty years of experience working with subject matter experts to design, develop and deliver learning solutions for practitioners at all levels.

He has worked in Colleges, Universities and supported providers in the public and private sectors. Through his work and based on “best practice” in practice-based learning he has developed an approach to working with subject matter experts to design, develop and develop learning materials.
