Delivering a Quality Future for Aviation

Training or Learning?

“Training” will often mean different things to different people/organisations; in aviation, we are often told that there are “minimum training requirements” for a particular role or activity.  Thus, organisations and individuals will often carry out the minimum training necessary to satisfy their regulatory requirements.

At the T-C-Alliance, we prefer the word “learning”.   Learning is a long-term and continuous progress focusing on DEVELOPMENT and is far from “tick-box” training that can be prevalent in many organisations.

Doing the minimum training is not enough. If we are to prosper in aviation, we must learn and develop continuously
